This 1 1/2ft tall x 2 1/2ft wide sprawling plant produces 1 1/2 in by 1in wrinkled red fruits which have a strong smokey, tropical fruit aroma but no heat. Also known as CO5599. This plant produces heavy yields of small diamond shaped hot peppers which mature from light yellowish-green, to orange and then to red approximately 90 days after transplanting. The plants have green stems, green leaves and white flowers. The pods are very flavorsome and aromatic and have a charactertic point. Listed as United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) variety PI 543205. Also called Aji Bolivia.
