Name translates to “stitched”, also often named Elephant – so named because of its extreme corking on the fruits, which are up to 18 cm’s long, red and hot. They have thick flesh but dry easily because pods have a high dry matter. Originally found at a market in Skopje, Macedonia. Later on available from Arche Noah – a seed saving organization in Austria.

A hybridised bell pepper variety that offers very early harvests of elongated 6 to 7 inches long dark green, thick-walled peppers that ripen to an iintense red colour (64 days) this vigorous plants set fruit well even under stressful conditions and is resistant to tobacco mosaic (TMV) virus.

VIEJO ARRUGA DULCE

The name means 'wrinkled sweet old man'. Common in Mexico, the pods are 3 inches in length and 1 inch in width. Immature pods are green and mature pods are red.
