This variety is reputed to be a very scary pepper!!! The plants are tall, upright and reasonably productive bearing 2 to 3in long pendant pods which taper to a sharp pointed 'tail'. The pods mature from green to orange and finally red approximately 90-120 days after transplanting (similar to some of the other long season chinese species). In terms of pungency, the pods of this rare and much sort after variety are outrageously hot and one of only a handful of varieties which can claim to rival the Naga Morich.
