SCOTCH BONNET CHOCOLATE

Jamaican pepper with hot, fruity and smoky flavour. Has the smell and taste of a Caribbean Red. Ripens from dark green to a chocolate brown. Thick flesh pod and deeply ribbed. About 120-180 days from germination to ripe fruit, depending on growing conditions. (Capsicum chinense Jacq.).

SERRANO PURPLE

This is a beautiful purple-fruited version of Serrano. Peppers are a little longer than those of regular Serrano, but the same candle-flame shape. Instead of turning red at maturity, they become deep purple. Plants are tall and branching with the fuzzy foliage typical of Serranos. The plant also produces stunning, large purple flowers with darkpurple/black anthers. Wonderful for salsas as well as eating fresh. 85 days.

TRINIDAD PERFUME

This habanero type variety produces 1 to 1.5 in long by 1 to 1.25in wide 'turks cap' type pods which matures from green to bright yellow. The pods have a fantastic aroma and good smoky flavour with no heat.

TRINIDAD SCORPION

This variety is reputed to be a very scary pepper!!! The plants are tall, upright and reasonably productive bearing 2 to 3in long pendant pods which taper to a sharp pointed 'tail'. The pods mature from green to orange and finally red approximately 90-120 days after transplanting (similar to some of the other long season chinese species). In terms of pungency, the pods of this rare and much sort after variety are outrageously hot and one of only a handful of varieties which can claim to rival the Naga Morich.
